Western Promenade in the Gilded Age Walking Tour
Portland’s Western Promenade in the Gilded Age is a brand new tour this year that walks through one of Portland’s most exclusive neighborhoods uncovering the hidden connections between neighbors during the area’s building boom from the 1870s to the1920s.

Slow your pace down a bit this summer and visit the July 19th Open Garden Day at 71 Bayview in Belfast. Walk along the paths of a hidden hillside garden or view it all from the patio below. There are also several other garden beds and extensive stone work to see. The garden will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, rain or shine. A $5 donation helps the Belfast Garden Club fund public gardens and contribute towards a Unity College scholarship.

Neighborhood Stories: Portland’s India Street discovers the neighborhood stories of this busy commercial center of Portland in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The India street neighborhood has been a crossroad for Portland's workers, residents, and travelers through the centuries. Thanks to a partnership with the Committee to Restore the Abyssinian the tour ends with an exclusive look inside the Abyssinian Meeting House, America's 3rd oldest African-American Meeting House.

Two days of unplugged gaming fun! Board games, RPGs, and card games. Tea & Lobster Productions invites you to come get away and game for a day or a whole weekend in July.
A two-day event with the focus being on playing tabletop games with enough time to complete them and with people who actually want to play them. The event will be limited to 250 tickets per day and feature a sandwich lunch buffet which is included in the ticket price. Sit down and play games like Settlers, Quest for The Antidote, Seven Wonders, Descent, maybe even Risk! There will also be Game Runners coming to the event which will provide the opportunity to play D&D one-shot adventures!
3rd Anniversary Celebration of Katahdin Woods and Waters

Join the party at New England Outdoor Center for the 3rd Anniversary Celebration of Katahdin Woods and Waters presented by Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters and Maine Beer Company. New England Outdoor Center will be serving dinner alongside Woods and Waters IPA fresh on tap from Maine Beer Co. There will be a variety of items and experience from around the Katahdin Region and Maine on sale at the silent auction and all evening long, you’ll be treated to live music from the Magic 8 Ball Quartet. Come on out and raise a glass to the past, present, and future of Katahdin Woods and Waters!
